The Taliban seize 185 kilograms of narcotics in Laghman

According to a statement released Saturday by the Taliban’s Ministry of Interior, a Mazda vehicle loaded with 185 kilograms of narcotics was intercepted on the Kabul–Jalalabad highway in Laghman province.
The statement said the vehicle had been skillfully packed with 155 kilograms of opium and 30 kilograms of heroin, which were seized by Taliban forces.
The statement also added that the driver of the Mazda vehicle was arrested along with the narcotics and is currently under investigation.
