On Friday, Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) issued a statement claiming responsibility for a drone strike on a Pakistani military checkpoint in Bannu district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to the group, the attack resulted in the death of one Pakistani soldier and injuries to three others.
As of now, the Pakistani government has not issued any official statement regarding the incident.
