🌍 Australia and New Zealand to Recognize Palestine as an Independent State

On Monday, Australia and New Zealand announced that they will recognize Palestine as an independent state during the upcoming session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese stated that the decision will be implemented once Palestine fulfills its commitments.
He added that this is the only viable path toward a two-state solution that can end the conflict, suffering, and hunger in Gaza.
Israel has opposed the decision, claiming that it amounts to rewarding terrorism.
New Zealand also confirmed that it will recognize Palestine through the UN platform.
Previously, the United Kingdom, France, and Canada had expressed similar positions
