Local sources from Pakistan told Cheragh Television on Tuesday that the Pakistani military launched operations against armed groups in Bajaur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa starting Monday.
The sources further stated that since the beginning of the operations, approximately 1,400 families—with a total of more than 7,000 individuals—have been displaced from the Mamund areas of Bajaur and have relocated to other regions.
It is worth noting that the Pakistani military had previously imposed a curfew in Bajaur due to efforts to counter armed groups
