According to a statement released by the Taliban’s Ghor Provincial Police Command, four individuals have been arrested in possession of 92 kilograms of narcotics. The suspects had skillfully concealed the drugs in two vehicles and were reportedly attempting to transport them to Herat province.
The statement highlights that drug trafficking and sales have increased across Afghanistan since the Taliban regained control.
