On Sunday, Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) issued a statement claiming responsibility for an attack on a Pakistani military convoy in South Waziristan.
According to the statement, the group killed 10 Pakistani soldiers and injured 15 others during the assault.
TTP further claimed that two military vehicles were also set ablaze during the operation.
It is worth noting that the Pakistani military has not commented on the incident.
