AFP: Climate Change in Afghanistan Driving People from Their Homes

In a published report, Agence France-Presse (AFP) states that climate change in Afghanistan—particularly drought—has forced Afghan families into internal displacement.
According to the report, since the return of the Taliban to power, climate change, droughts, and floods have compelled many Afghan families to leave their original areas and relocate to other regions.
AFP writes that this year alone, more than five million people have been affected by climate-related impacts.
