The human rights organization HRANA reported in a statement released on Wednesday that the Iranian government executed six Afghan nationals on Tuesday.
According to the statement, the six individuals were executed in Iran on charges of drug trafficking and distribution.
The report adds that the executions took place in Bandar Abbas prison.
It is worth noting that since the beginning of 2025, the Iranian government has executed 52 Afghan nationals for various crimes.
