A number of Afghans who collaborated with American agencies and forces over the past two decades have called on former U.S. President Donald Trump to restart the Afghan refugee resettlement program in the United States.
According to a CNN report, Trump halted the program at the beginning of his second term, leaving many Afghans who had worked with the U.S. government stranded in Afghanistan.
These Afghans now live under the shadow of Taliban rule, facing severe hardship and life-threatening danger. They have appealed to Trump to help rescue his Afghan allies.
