🕊️ UNAMA Expresses Condolences to Families of Herat Crash Victims

Two days ago, a bus transporting refugees in Herat province was involved in a tragic accident, resulting in the deaths of 78 people, including 17 children.
The bus was carrying refugees deported from Iran when it first collided with a motorcycle and then with a fuel tanker, causing a massive fire.
The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) and UNICEF have both expressed deep sympathy for the victims and their families, stating that they share in the grief of those affected by this tragedy.
Meanwhile, the Taliban have confirmed that the victims of the crash came from various provinces across the country.
