During the republican era, former Kabul governor Ahmadullah Alizi wrote on his X (formerly Twitter) account that he has accepted the invitation to an upcoming conference in Pakistan, which will include anti-Taliban Afghan figures and Pakistani officials. He stated that he is attending the conference to support Afghanistan’s economic progress.
Alizi emphasized that he does not represent any individual or political party, and that Afghanistan’s interests are always his top priority. For this reason, he is participating in the conference to promote Afghanistan’s security, economic growth, lasting stability, and national unity.
It is worth noting that the joint conference of anti-Taliban Afghan figures and Pakistani officials is scheduled to take place in Pakistan on August 25 and 26
