On Thursday, August 21, Pakistan’s Supreme Court announced that it has granted temporary bail to former Prime Minister Imran Khan in eight cases.
So far, Imran Khan has received bail in eight cases from the Supreme Court. However, he remains in custody due to other pending cases. Among them is the Al-Qadir Trust case, in which he has been sentenced to 14 years in prison. Additionally, cases related to the sale of government gifts are still unresolved.
Imran Khan’s political party and his supporters have hailed the bail as strong evidence of his innocence. They celebrated the decision and expressed confidence that he will soon be proven innocent in all remaining cases
