The Taliban have appointed Mohammad Ismail Defaai, the former military commander of Dehrawood district, as the mayor of Tarinkot in a civilian post.
On Saturday, the Taliban introduced this fighter to the staff of Tarinkot municipality and asked them to cooperate with him in urban development efforts.
It is worth noting that the Taliban continue to assign their military personnel to professional and civilian positions, often removing qualified and experienced individuals from such roles.
