The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) said in a statement released on Monday that the European Union will provide 10 million euros in aid to Afghanistan to support Afghan children.
According to the statement, Afghan children—especially those recently arrived from neighboring countries—will benefit from this assistance.
The statement added that over the next three years, the program will include emergency care for unaccompanied children at border areas, support for education and health services in 12 provinces, and reintegration assistance for returnees, benefiting 180,000 children and their families
