Local sources from Herat told Cheragh Television that on Sunday evening, in the Bagh-e-Nazargah area of Herat province, a man killed three members of his family.
According to the source, the man attacked and killed his mother, wife, and daughter using a knife.
The source added that after the incident, the killer fled the area.
Authorities in Herat province under the Taliban have confirmed the incident and stated that investigations are underway.
It should be noted that the main motive behind the incident is still unclear; however, such events often stem from domestic violence.
