Iranian media reported on Thursday that the Iranian government executed an Afghan youth on Wednesday at the central prison in Zahedan, Iran, on charges of drug trafficking.
According to the report, the young Afghan man was named Nawab, who had been arrested two years ago for drug trafficking and was executed yesterday by Iranian authorities.
It is worth noting that Nawab was originally a resident of Qala-e-Kah district in Farah province, Afghanistan, and had been imprisoned in Iran for the past two years
