The Guardian: Taliban Shut Down Women’s Secret Beauty Salons in Afghanistan

The Guardian newspaper reported in its latest article that the Taliban, under a new directive, have closed down women’s fashion and beauty centers across Afghanistan—even those operating secretly from private homes.
According to the report, the Taliban have given the owners of these beauty salons one month to shut down their operations. If they fail to comply, they will be arrested and punished by the Taliban authorities.
Furthermore, two days ago, a source from Kabul’s District 11 told Cheragh TV that the Taliban had asked local representatives to identify and report secret women’s fashion centers so that the Taliban administration could shut them down.
