The Taliban leader, Hibatullah, has announced a series of new appointments within the group. As part of these changes, the former Minister of Information and Culture, Khairullah Khairkhwa, has been appointed as the Governor of Maidan Wardak. Meanwhile, the former Governor of Laghman, Sher Ahmad Haqqani, has been appointed as the new Minister of Information and Culture.
