The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) stated in its latest report that approximately 11,600 pregnant women in eastern Afghanistan are in urgent need of assistance following recent earthquakes.
According to the organization, health teams are still unable to reach certain areas of Kunar province due to damaged roads.
The report also mentioned that UNFPA is working to provide healthcare services to pregnant women in earthquake-affected regions, emphasizing that healthcare for women is a top priority
