Qatari media have reported that five additional aircraft carrying humanitarian aid arrived in Kabul on Friday to support those affected by recent earthquakes in eastern Afghanistan.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, the aid was sent under the directive of the Emir of Qatar to assist the earthquake victims.
The aid includes fully equipped mobile hospitals, medical supplies, tents, and hygiene kits provided by the Qatari government.
Qatari media also stated that alongside the aid, a team of doctors and rescue personnel arrived in Afghanistan to help those impacted by the disaster.
It’s worth noting that prior to this, Qatar had already sent four humanitarian aid planes to assist earthquake victims in Kunar province.
