The United Nations says Afghanistan’s earthquake victims need $179 million in emergency aid

In its report, the United Nations stated that people affected by the earthquakes in Afghanistan are in urgent need of assistance.
The organization said that those harmed by the recent earthquakes in Afghanistan require $179 million in aid.
Indrika Ratwatte, the UN’s humanitarian coordinator, said in Geneva that with the arrival of winter, life will become even more difficult for those whose homes were destroyed in remote areas of Kunar province.
He called on the international community to continue their support for Afghans during these harsh conditions and to extend a helping hand to the earthquake victims.
