Iranian media outlet IRNAF reported that Afghan refugees showcased their cultural items in a special exhibition held in Shiraz, Iran.
According to the report, the exhibition featured eight booths set up by Afghan refugees, where they presented various cultural artifacts.
The report noted that a large number of Shiite and Sunni religious scholars, artists, athletes, cultural figures, writers from Iran and Afghanistan, as well as Afghan and Iranian residents in Iran, attended the event.
Participants of the exhibition stated that organizing such events plays a vital role in strengthening cultural and social ties between Iran and Afghanistan, and emphasized the need for more exhibitions of this kind.
This cultural exhibition was held at a time when Iran is forcibly deporting thousands of Afghan refugees from its territory back to Afghanistan on a daily basis.
