According to a statement issued by the Taliban’s Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation, 1,102 Afghan refugee families returned to Afghanistan on Friday from Pakistan and Iran.

It’s important to note that Pakistan and Iran have recently forcibly expelled thousands of Afghan refugees, sending them back to Afghanistan. These returnees are now deprived of basic rights such as education, shelter, healthcare, employment, and other essential services, and are in urgent need of international assistance
