Local sources from Faryab told Chiragh Television on Saturday that unknown armed individuals shot and killed a woman in the Shirin Tagab district of Faryab province. The attackers fled the scene after the incident.
The identity of the slain woman has not yet been confirmed, and the motive behind the killing remains unclear.
So far, the Taliban authorities in Faryab have not commented on the incident.
