On Friday, residents of villages surrounding Bagram Airbase told Cheragh Television that the Taliban had ordered them to evacuate the area.
According to them, the Taliban issued this directive a week ago, instructing residents to leave within one month.
They said the Taliban cited a potential U.S. military strike as the reason for the evacuation.
So far, the Taliban have not officially commented on the matter.
