Najib Azad: 1,400 U.S. Troops Have Moved Toward Bagram

On Friday, October 3, 2025, University of Wisconsin professor Najib Azad stated on his Facebook page that he personally witnessed 1,400 special U.S. forces moving toward Bagram Airbase in Afghanistan from a major American military base.
According to Azad, the U.S. had previously initiated negotiations with the Taliban, and now, under a mutual agreement, American forces are heading toward Afghanistan to take control of Bagram.
He added that the troops moving toward Afghanistan belong to the “Special Seven,” one of the most advanced and elite U.S. military units, established in 1960.
