The international organization for child protection has stated that 250,000 children in Afghanistan urgently need food aid.
According to the organization, they are only able to provide food to 30 children per day and cannot support the remaining children.
The organization also noted that recent earthquakes in eastern provinces of Afghanistan have left many children orphaned, and these children too are in urgent need of food assistance.
They added that the guardians of these orphaned children themselves are in need of food support and must be helped.
