“United Nations: 92% of Afghans Support Girls’ Education

In a statement released on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day by the UN Women’s division, it was reported that 92% of people in Afghanistan support education for girls.
The organization emphasized that education is not a crime, but rather a step toward building a nation. It called on the Taliban to allow Afghan girls access to education.
UN Women also stated that it conducted a survey among 2,000 individuals in Afghanistan regarding girls’ education, and the findings show that 92% of respondents support and demand education for girls.
The organization reiterated its commitment to advocating for girls’ education and employment in Afghanistan, stating that educating girls leads society toward progress and equality.
It’s worth noting that earlier, the United Nations reported that over 80% of women in Afghanistan have been deprived of education and employment.”
