73 People Killed in Traffic Accident in Herat

Ahmadullah Muttaqi, head of information and culture for the Taliban in Herat province, told Chiragh TV that on Tuesday evening, a bus carrying 580 passengers crashed in Herat province, resulting in the deaths of 73 passengers.
According to him, the bus first collided with a motorcycle and then with a fuel tanker.
Muttaqi stated that among the deceased were 54 adults and 17 children. He added that most of the victims were Afghan refugees who had recently returned from Iran.
