Ahmadullah Muttaqi, head of information and culture for the Taliban in Herat province, told Chiragh TV that on Tuesday evening, a bus carrying 580 passengers crashed in Herat province, resulting in the deaths of 73 passengers.
According to him, the bus first collided with a motorcycle and then with a fuel tanker.
Muttaqi stated that among the deceased were 54 adults and 17 children. He added that most of the victims were Afghan refugees who had recently returned from Iran.
It should be noted that such traffic accidents often occur on highways due to the failure to follow traffic rules and general negligence
