According to a statement released on Monday by the Taliban-controlled Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation, 1,371 Afghan refugee families returned to Afghanistan from Pakistan and Iran on Sunday.
The statement said that:
The repatriation of Afghan refugees from Iran and Pakistan continues, and the number has increased in recent days.
Iranian officials stated that since the beginning of the current year, 1.7 million Afghans have been deported back to Afghanistan.
