Retirees: We haven’t received our pension rights for the past four years

Several retirees told Cheragh Television that they have not received their pension payments for the past four years. They say that since the return of the Taliban to power, they have been visiting government offices daily to claim their pension rights, but no one listens to them, and they remain in limbo.
According to them, the lack of support and attention has left them struggling with severe economic hardships. They say their lives are becoming more difficult by the day, and they are forced to rely on others for help.
They mention that rent, household expenses, and other costs continue to pile up, yet despite promises, the Taliban have still not provided their pension payments.
The retirees are calling on the Taliban administration to ensure timely payment of their pensions so they can meet their basic living needs.
This comes as the Taliban’s Ministry of Finance announced that the pension distribution process began three days ago
