Local sources from Nuristan told Cheragh Television on Tuesday that last night, in the Du Ab district of the province, a man killed his father-in-law and mother-in-law.
According to the source, the man committed the murders because his wife had left to stay with her parents due to domestic issues. While attempting to bring her back home, the incident occurred.
The source stated that the man shot and killed both his in-laws, and the primary motive behind the incident was identified as domestic violence.
So far, the Taliban authorities in Nuristan province have not released any official information regarding the incident.
It’s worth noting that two days earlier, in Herat province, another man killed his wife, daughter, and mother with a knife, also due to domestic problems.
