On Wednesday, a passenger bus carrying 580 people veered off the road and overturned in the Arghandai area along the Kandahar–Kabul highway.
According to preliminary information from Chiragh Television, 26 passengers were killed and 14 others injured in the incident.
The bus was traveling from Helmand to Kabul when it lost control and overturned in Arghandai.
It’s worth noting that just a week earlier, another passenger bus crashed in Herat province, resulting in the deaths of 79 people.
