📰 259 People Killed in Eastern Zone Due to Earthquake

According to initial reports from disaster management officials in Nangarhar, Kunar, and Laghman provinces, 259 people were killed and around 2,500 others injured in last night’s earthquake.
🔹 Of the casualties, 250 people were killed in Kunar province, specifically in the districts of Chawkay, Manogai, Chapa Dara, and Nurgal. More than 2,000 others were injured in these areas.
🔹 Additionally, 9 people were killed in Dara Noor district of Nangarhar province, and over 300 others were injured in both Laghman and Nangarhar.
🏥 The Taliban’s Ministry of Public Health stated that the earthquake caused significant loss of life and injuries in the mentioned provinces, and that updated figures will be shared with the media later.
🌍 The earthquake occurred last night near Kabul and affected Nangarhar, Kunar, and Laghman provinces, measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale.
