Kandahar Traders Export 100 Tons of Figs to India

Traders from Kandahar told Chiragh TV that they have exported 100 tons of figs from the province to India.
According to them, fig sales in Kandahar had previously come to a halt, and farmers were facing severe economic challenges. These exports now offer a renewed opportunity for fig merchants and farmers.
The Kandahar traders estimate that the fig exports to India are worth around $700,000.
It’s worth noting that this is the first time figs have been exported to India since the return of the Taliban to power.
