Local sources from Nuristan told Cheragh TV that on Wednesday, unknown armed individuals shot and killed two people in the Mandol district.
According to the source, the victims were named Abdul Wahab and Gul Rahman.
The source added that Abdul Wahab was originally a resident of Kabul province and had traveled to Nuristan as a guest.
The motive behind the killings remains unknown, and the Taliban have not commented on the incident.
