In its latest report, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) stated that, based on its assessment, 65% of homes in two districts of Kunar province were completely destroyed by the recent earthquakes. Additionally, 98% of homes were damaged, and only 2% remained intact.
According to the report, in each affected household in those districts, approximately two people were killed and three were injured.
The report also notes that the recent earthquakes in Nangarhar, Laghman, and Kunar provinces have resulted in the deaths of around 2,200 people and injuries to 3,600 others.
