Taliban: Charity Organizations Should Not Photograph Earthquake-Affected Women

On Saturday, the Taliban in Nangarhar and Kunar provinces instructed charity organizations not to take photographs of women affected by the recent earthquakes during aid distribution.
A statement from the Taliban’s media office in Nangarhar said: “During the delivery and distribution of aid, full respect must be shown to Islamic and Afghan values, and any actions or behavior that provoke public sentiment should be avoided.”
This directive was issued after some organizations in Kunar province published images of Afghan women being treated by male doctors due to a shortage of female medical staff
