Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, stated that some Pakistanis do not travel to Saudi Arabia for Hajj or Umrah, but rather to beg.
He expressed concern that these individuals collect money under the names of usher, zakat, and charity, which has tarnished Pakistan’s reputation.
He mentioned that Saudi authorities have repeatedly complained that Pakistani citizens beg during Hajj and Umrah in the country.
He urged all such Pakistanis to refrain from these actions.
