Local sources in Iran told Cheragh Television that two vehicles collided on the main road between Taybad and Torbat-e Jam, resulting in the death of three Afghan refugees.
According to the source, eight other Afghan refugees were injured in the crash and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The source added that these Afghan refugees did not have legal residency documents in Iran and were trying to escape from Iranian police when the accident occurred.
