Famous Afghan singer and women’s rights activist Ariana Saeed, in a video message, called on Afghan men to defend the rights of Afghan girls and women and to continue supporting them.
According to her, hundreds of thousands of homeless returnees—especially women—are living in a state of complete uncertainty, and millions of girls are deprived of education, which requires urgent assistance.
Ariana Saeed says: “Instead of solving the people’s problems, the Taliban are trying every day to harass girls and arrest them in various ways.”
She called on all Afghans to unite against this situation and to support women, so that fellow citizens are not forced to leave their families or become witnesses to the Taliban’s imprisonment.
