Iranian police have reported intercepting a vehicle at the Dogharoon customs checkpoint that was attempting to smuggle 10 kilograms of heroin from Afghanistan into Iran.
According to the police, the heroin had been expertly concealed inside the vehicle’s fuel tank, and the smugglers intended to transport it into Iran. The vehicle was seized by authorities during inspection.
