Iranian police have reported intercepting a vehicle at the Dogharoon customs checkpoint that was smuggling 10 kilograms of heroin from Afghanistan into Iran. According to the police, the heroin had been skillfully concealed inside the vehicle’s fuel tank. The smugglers intended to transport the drugs into Iran, but were apprehended by law enforcement.
