The International Organization for Migration (IOM) reports a significant surge in the return of Afghan refugees, warning that Afghanistan is facing a crisis as a result. According to the organization, more than four million Afghans have returned from Iran and Pakistan since September of last year.
IOM emphasizes the urgent need for financial assistance to address the needs of these returnees and calls on the international community to swiftly allocate funding to support Afghan refugees and help mitigate the crisis.
