Pakistan Deports 40 Afghans Awaiting Relocation to Germany

According to a published report by the German newspaper Taz, the Pakistani government has deported 40 Afghan nationals who were waiting in Islamabad for relocation to Germany.
These individuals had been accepted under Germany’s resettlement program for Afghans and had received official confirmation emails from the German government. Despite this, Pakistani authorities detained them and forcibly returned them to Afghanistan.
Taz reports that the deported Afghans were awaiting their scheduled flights to Germany when they were removed by Pakistani officials.
